Our
main stud dog, Banyon's Austin, is out of Banyon's Charlene, who is
a product of an outcross to Ch. Jewel Midas Touch of CC bred to our
Ch. Banyon's Oscar. Both Charlene and Oscar are incredibly sound mastiffs
with excellent breed type and wonderful angulation. Obviously, these
traits were passed on to Austin.Austin tends to produce dogs much
like himself and is very consistent in doing so.Austin could be improved
upon by having a more outgoing temperament, darker pigmentation on
both ears and muzzle, and less loose skin underneath his neck. He
has ideal rear angulation, decent front angulation, heavy bone, a
nice straight topline, with balanced and proportionate body size.
Ideally, he could be slightly more rectangular in overall shape. His
movement is very fluid, with good reach and drive in the front and
rear, respectively.
